Pulloxhill Singers - entertaining you for over 50 years
The Pulloxhill Singers were founded in 1972 by Bob Gilman, a prominent musician who lived in Pulloxhill. The choir was created as a mixed voice choir and numbered about twenty five singers from Pulloxhill and surrounding villages.
Bob developed the choir into a talented four part group, and was instrumental in presenting lovely choral music to listeners all over Bedfordshire.
The current Pulloxhill Singers consists of up to twenty two singers, who between them sing Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass. The various parts are remarkably balanced, which gives a lovely tone to our easy listening music. We sing a range of musical arrangements, from contemporary to traditional and some religious pieces.
We rehearse each week in Pulloxhill Church Hall, from 8pm until 10pm each Tuesday.
